    Swimming Lesson Registration W-M Community Education offers a comprehensive, year round water instruction program to community members 6months of age to adult. Aquatics programs include a wide range of activities including fitness, lifeguard training and certification, lap swimming, and group rentals. Aquatics program provide opportunities for participants to learn to swim, sway to stay fit and engage in family fun.

    REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY WAIT-LISTED FOR ALL GROUPS PROGRAM OPTIONS Infants (6 weeks to 18 months) Toddlers (18 months to 32 months) Preschool Age (33 months to 48 months) DAYS AND HOURS of OPERATION: September - August (Monday - Friday) 6:45 am - 5:30 pm Kids’ Company reserves the right to delay enrollment due to the need to increase staff or to gather additional information about the child. Kids’ Company also reserves the right to deny or limit service due to non-payment of previous charges or outstanding balances. Families currently participating in the program have priority over new registrants. Enrollment is not always guaranteed and is always on a space available basis. Please allow 3-5 business days to process. PROCESS Complete online registration Families will receive an auto confirmation indicating if registration is accepted or placed on waiting list. (Families can hold their spot for up to 3 months if not ready to start). See Hold Policy Schedule REQUIRED Intake Meeting and complete the following forms.; Immunization Form New Family Add Form Health Care Summary Intake Meeting - REQUIRED An Intake meeting is required prior to the child’s start date and the meeting will include but is not limited to: Site Tour Review of Health Summary, feeding plan and care instructions Program Policies and Procedures Collection of required forms Once a child is enrolled in our licensed child care, they have secured a spot. In order to maintain enrollment, families are required to renew the contract annually by August. If a child will not be attending during the summer program, the spot can be held. See Summer Hold Policy If families no longer need child care services, they have the option of withdrawing their contract. INFANT & TODDLER - CONTRACT TYPES Contracts: families will be charged for days closed due to holidays. Monday-Friday Contract 4-day: Monday – Thursday PRESCHOOL AGE (3yr)- CONTRACT TYPES Set Schedule: Consistent set schedule minimum 2 days per week. Families will be charged for holidays if their contract day falls on a day closed due to a holiday. CONTRACTS MUST BE RENEWED ANNUALLY HOLD SPOT A monthly, non-refundable fee is charged to hold a spot in Kids’ Company Caring Hands Child Care for up to three months. Hold fees are not prorated or refundable. If you decide at the end of three months that you no longer need care, then your contract will be withdrawn. Families must register for the contract option and type and then inform the program they would like a hold spot, once registration is approved. See Rates & Billing Form for details.     What is Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) ECFE is a unique parent-child education program for ALL families with children ages birth to kindergarten. Weekly classes have three parts: Learning Together In the children’s classroom, parents and children have time to play and learn together. You can choose from many planned activities designed just for you and your child. Learn new ideas for activities to do at home. (This time together is planned by a licensed early childhood teacher.) Purposeful Play for Children Children enjoy learning activities planned by a licensed early childhood teacher. Activities are designed for children to learn through play with their peers. The goal is to help children develop a healthy self-concept and a love for learning. Connecting With Others While children are learning with their teachers, parents join together in an informal group setting for a discussion time led by a parent educator. The group discusses current family topics; they share ideas, learn more about their child’s development and benefit from feeling connected to their parents.     Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN) is an organization that empowers people with intellectual disabilities to become included and valued members of their communities, which leads to a more respectful and inclusive society for all. With the support of coaches and volunteers, SOMN provides year-round sports training and competition in 16-Olympic type sports for thousands of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through Special Olympics’ athletic, health and leadership programs, people with intellectual disabilities transform themselves, their communities and the world. To be eligible to participate in Special Olympics, you must be at least 8 years old and identified by an agency or professional as having one of the following conditions: intellectual disabilities, cognitive delays as measured by a formal assessment, or significant learning or vocational problems due to cognitive delay that require or have required specially designed instruction.
