    ADVANTAGE PREPARATORY COURSES – ACT FOR SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS & SENIORS Advantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in three different ways: the In-Person ACT Preparatory Course, the Virtual ACT Preparatory Course, or the Online ACT Preparatory Course. All three courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as for those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills or who have previously taken the exam and aren't satisfied with their results Virtual and In-Person clases meet for 3 hours, once each week for four weeks, with make-up classes also available. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, vocabulary development, intensive mathematical review, reading comprehension improvement, science reasoning, concentration improvement, overcoming test anxiety, essay writing, and time management. Students may repeat the courses in future offerings— free of charge. All class materials are included in the tuition fee. In addition, the Minnesota Tax Credit for Learning Programs may offer a state tax deduction to parents with children who participate in this program. Students may repeat this course at no charge until graduation from high school.

The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review. Advantage instructors teach and interact with students in a scheduled online class and are available to answer questions if needed. The fee for this course is $180. Internet connection and access to a computer or laptop is required for this course option. 2.Online (Self-Paced): ACT Prep Course for students preferring to prepare for the exam on their own schedule and at their own pace.
