    37 Postcards Tour Day Trippers Dinner Theatre is at it again at the Plymouth Playhouse! Get ready to laugh! After an included quarter savory roast chicken, baked lasagna, tuscan vegetable medley, garden salad with assorted dressings, assorted rolls, mashed potatoes, specialty dessert and coffee or tea, we’ll head for the theatre for 37 Postcards, written like a 1930's screwball comedy! Young Avery Sutton and his fiancé return from an eight year stint in Europe only to find his already eccentric family has gone certifiably insane! Things have changed. The house is on a tilt, the dog is feral, his grandmother (presumed dead) is alive and kicking! Oh, the Suttons are just a quirky, funny, loving family. So Avery and his bride-to-be have to either accept their oddities or leave them behind. Well, the couple discovers that you can in fact go home again. You just never know what you'll find!     Princess Sandy has done it again with one of my absolute favorite tours, and if you’ve ever been to Starland, the reason is obvious. Guys, you’ll also love it! You have my word! We’re going just before Mother’s Day… and the greenhouse will be open! Please sign up early. Sandy has tweaked the tour with highlights of Winthrop and lots of time with the Hutterites. We’ll begin with an included coffee, juice and roll at Hahn’s Dining in Winthrop and then spend some time browsing and shopping at Winthrop Mercantile which brings a multitude of antiques for your shopping pleasure… The Lavender Boutique offers women’s apparel and accessories including purses and shoes; gift items including baby items, kitchen supplies, coffee and honey. Jypsy Sisters Boutique features handmade boutique where you can shop from 28+ artists all in one place… jewelry, goat milk soap, rag rugs, canned goods, pure maple syrup, sewn items, clothing, essential oil items, baby gifts and more.) Then it’s time for Starland, the area home of the Hutterian Brethren. Time will be allowed to learn about these folks and also for casual browsing and shopping. Bring your questions! The Hutterites are a religious group originating in 1528 during the Reformation. They live communally in rural North America. We’ll learn about their unique lifestyle, religion, customs, traditions, and history; how they earn their living; what they do in their leisure time; and enjoy an included family style dinner.     Mississippi Lock & Dam Boat Cruise It’s been a couple of years, and lock and dam tours are on very limited dates. We are so fortunate to once again enjoy this tour… four hours of relaxation and a great buffet meal! We’re headed for Harriet Island in St. Paul where we’ll take in the beautiful sites along this historically narrated cruise, which travels through the Ford Lock and Dam - Lock #1, from St. Paul into Minneapolis then returning to Harriet Island. It truly is amazing how the riverboat is raised and lowered to get through the lock. Kids will love it, and we’ll most probably see eagles (and many dogs playing) along the river!
