    Beginner ROYAL CAMP Entering GR 1-4 This camp will focus on introducing and teaching the skills of volleyball and enjoying volleyball competition. Younger campers will focus on basic volleyball skills of serving, passing, and setting. Campers will work in groups of similar skill development level.     COMPETE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE ALL AGES For golfers looking to take the next step and learn to be a competitive golfer. Format: choose any 4, 5 or 6 dates that work for you. A session includes, 1 hour of competitive golf instruction, 2 hours of on-course competitive golf formats. (1 hour of instruction with 9 hole tee times starting at 3 - 4:10 pm) Welcoming All Ages. Registration deadline is May 19.
  • GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP ENTERING GRADE 4 - 8

    SUMMER GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP ENTERING GR 4-8 Basketball fundamentals and team play will be stressed during the week. Players will work on team offense and individual offensive skills such as: shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and offensive moves. Individual defensive skills and team defense will also be covered. 8th graders who attend this camp are welcome to attend the varsity camp for free. Your child will receive a t-shirt for participating, please note her t-shirt size when registering, we will not be able to ensure correct sizes after May 15th
  • GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP GRADE 9-12

    ROYALS SUMMER GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP ENTERING GR 9-12 PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE 2 OPTIONS YOU CAN SELECT FROM 1.) OPTION A-STUDENT WILL RECEIVE A TSHIRT 2.) OPTION B STUDENT WILL NOT RECEIVE A TSHIRT Athletes who are contemplating playing basketball next year or would like to try basketball as a varsity sport are invited to this camp. Basketball fundamentals and team play will be stressed during the week. Players will work on team offense and individual offensive skills such as: shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and offensive moves. Individual defensive skills and team defense will also be covered. If you cannot attend everyday we are flexible enough to accommodate your schedule. See Coach Rosholt if you have conflicts. This camp will be a great springboard into next season. The camp will be equivalent to 16 practices. That’s the same as 30% of our in-season practices. 8th graders who attend the middle school camp are welcome to attend the varsity camp for free. Your child will receive a t-shirt for participating, please note her t-shirt size when registering, we will not be able to ensure correct sizes after May 15th
  • JUNIOR GOLF SCHOOL AGES 8-15

    Junior Golf School AGES 8-15 Open to all levels from beginners to advanced boys and girls ages 8-15. (8 – 9 year old golfer’s 8am-9am, 10-11 year old golfers from 9am-10am and 12-15 year old golfers from 10am-11am) This four week program will teach the full swing as well as the short game (chipping, pitching and putting). Range balls are included and clubs are available if needed. Registration deadline for Session 1 is May 22nd and for Session 2 is June 19th.

    JUNIOR ROYAL CAMP ENTERING GR 5-8 For the campers who have a basic knowledge of volleyball, skills will focus on development and improvement of serving, passing, setting, and attacking. This session will also spend time developing leadership skills and character development for future Royal athletes. Campers will work in groups of similar skill development level. This camp is great for reinforcing the basics skills for grades 5-6 and is encouraged for player who are planning on playing in grades 7-8 in the fall. Your child will receive a t-shirt for participating, please note his/hers t-shirt size when registering, we will not be able to ensure correct sizes after May 15th

    ROYALS BOYS BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP ENTERING GR 3 - 8 W-M Basketball Coaches are offering a camp for boys that will emphasize offensive and defensive skills and fundamentals. Players will have the opportunity to compete in competitive games and contests as well. Questions may be directed to Coach Janikula at 952-955-0426.   • ROYALS FOOTBALL CAMP ENTERING GRADE 3-8

    ROYALS FOOTBALL CAMP ENTERING GR 3-8 Participants will work with the Royals Varsity Football staff and players in order to learn the fundamentals of offense and defensive play. Quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs will work together on basic pass routes, throwing, catching, and running with the football. Proper “heads up tackling,” defensive line, linebacker, and defensive back techniques will be introduced. Touch drills and games will be incorporated throughout.

    WRESTLING CAMP ENTERING GR K-12 Wrestling Camp for youth entering kindergarten -12th grade will be held Monday, June 22 - Thursday, June 25 in the W-M High School Wrestling Room. Instructors will be the W-M High School Coaching staff and other to be determined clinicians.

    YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE ENTERING GR 3 & 4 The focus will be to build the fundamental skills of football while incorporating intramural competition. The first few practices will be spent working on skills and drills, teams will be formed, and then round robin competition will occupy the remainder of the nights. Teams will be divided in order to ensure maximum participation. One or two volunteer parent coaches are needed for each team. There will be 6 to 8 teams. Questions, or if you are interested in coaching please contact Ed Rundell at erundell@wm.k12.mn.us prior to September 1. Equipment: Flags will be provided. Mouth guards will be available upon request. Spikes are not necessary.

    YOUTH TACKLE FOOTBALL LEAGUE ENTERING GR 5 & 6 The focus will be to build the fundamental skills of football while incorporating proper USA Football “Heads Up” tackling and competition. The first 3-4 practices will be spent working on skills, determining positions, and dividing into teams. Teams will be divided in order to ensure maximum participation. We participate in an area league for game play. A minimum of two volunteer parent coaches are needed for each teams. All coaches will be required to be USA Football “Heads Up” certified.
