Game Coding: Mario Kart Gr. 3-6 

In this class, we introduce students’ programming concepts using Scratch. Scratch is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Students will be instructed to make a Mario Kart -style game. Then pick custom characters, track to customize their games.

A Zoom link will be sent prior to the class start date by the instructor. Registration deadline 2 weeks prior to start date.

Home Technical Requirements for all Classes:

  1. Computer: PC (Windows 7 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor & 4GB or RAM
  2. Chromebooks, tablets & phones typically Do Not Work
  3. Internet: Broadband Internet
  4. Webcam,Microphone and Speakers
  5. Zoom Installed on Computer
  6. Should be comfortable using PC, mouse and keyboard
