National Diabetes Month: The Art of Carbohydrate Counting

Take the guesswork out of managing your carbohydrates with Registered Dietitian, Taylor Cain, MS, RDN! Whether you are diagnosed with diabetes or looking to eat more mindfully, this session will help build your confidence around counting carbs. Leave knowing why carbs matter, how to decipher nutrition labels, appropriate portion sizes, and tools that make counting easier.

Taylor Cain

Instructor

Taylor has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for seven years. She completed her Bachelor of Science and dietetic internship at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Taylor has a passion for learning and went on to complete her Master's Degree in human and community nutrition at the University of Alabama.

Over the past several years, Taylor has held positions in retail community nutrition, clinically supervised weight management, and preventative telehealth counseling. She has also held adjunct positions at her alma mater, as she loves education and giving back to her community!

As a dietitian, Taylor is dedicated to empowering people to build a personalized relationship with food through group education. She is so excited that you are interested in joining in on this health and wellness journey!
